Olu is an accomplished civil engineer, mathematical modeller and one of world's foremost accessibility modellers. Specialising in infrastructure planning, accessibility planning/modelling, transportation planning/modelling, local and national policy development/implementation and software engineering. Olu has the ability to solve complex technical problems and think out of the box in finding novel and ingenious solutions to some of the world's most demanding engineering, professional and research challenges.

Olu for example wrote the UK Government's technical guidance on accessibility planning and co-authored the UK Government's wider policy guidance on accessibility planning, developed the national core and composite accessibility indicators underpinning accessibility planning in England, and which form the basis for a number of the transport elements of the UK Government's emerging performance management framework for local government, amongst other contributions.

Olu's various contributions to the development of accessibility planning in England are believed to have improved and increased spatial planning, accessibility and transport planning, modelling and assessment capabilities within the UK and increasingly internationally.
